Several social media users are circulating a video, claiming it to show pop star Justin Bieber dancing to a hit Bollywood song “Kukkad Kamaal Da”, while performing at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony, which was held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on July 5. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are getting married on Friday, July 12, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

Newschecker ran a reverse image search of keyframes, which led us to this Youtube video, dated August 4, 2015, headlined, “Jack U w/ Justin Bieber – Where Are U Now – Live @ Hard Summer Day 2.” The concert was on August 2, 2015.
The viral excerpt can be seen from the 01:32 mark, considering the dance steps, background and outfits, where you can clearly see that Bieber is dancing to a different song, “Where Are Ü Now”. A further search led us to multiple reports on the festival, seen here and here, confirming that the viral video is of the same event.
We also came across multiple videos and photos of Bieber at the Ambani celebrations, seen here, here and here, where you can see that the viral video is not from the same event. “Justin Bieber performed at the event, wearing a jacket, white vest, loose pants, and his signature cap. He interacted with the guests while performing his hits like ‘Baby’, ‘Sorry’, and ‘Love Yourself’. Bieber shared several videos from his performance, showing him engaging with the audience and holding the mic towards them,” read a Business Today report, dated July 7, 2024.
