Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistani agents are sitting in Indian Parliament.
No such statement by the Pakistani politician. Video found to be manipulated.
A video allegedly showing Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari declaring that ‘Pak agents are present in the Indian Parliament’ during an address to his country’s National Assembly is being widely shared on social media platforms.
The split-screen footage purportedly shows Bhutto Zardari addressing the Pakistan parliament saying, “Who attacks in the dark of night? We can even spread our propaganda in front of the Indian Prime Minister in Parliament… Our people are sitting in their (Indian) Parliament.” Alongside this, the clip also displays Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi’s recent address in the Lok Sabha on Operation Sindoor.
Newschecker, however, found the video to be manipulated.

A keyword search for “Bilawal Bhutto,” “people” and “Indian Parliament” on Google did not yield any credible results supporting the viral claim.
We then conducted reverse image search on the keyframes of the video showing Bilawal Bhutto which led us to a YouTube post by PTV Parliament, which featured the live stream of the proceedings at the Pakistan National Assembly on May 7, 2025.
Around 41:14 minutes into the video, Bhutto can be heard addressing the assembly on India’s Operation Sindoor and saying, “…Who attacks in the dark of night? Thieves attack in the dark of night. Cowards attack in the dark of night. If they had the courage, they would have declared war in broad daylight.

The visuals from this segment of the live stream were found to be identical to the one seen in the viral video. However, the Pakistani leader is not heard making the alleged remarks about “people in Indian Parliament,” as being widely claimed.
A comparison between both the visuals can be seen below.
Further, the official YouTube channel of the National Assembly of Pakistan also shared his speech on May 7, 2025. This too did not carry the alleged statement, confirming that the viral clip has been manipulated.
On carefully analysing the viral clip, we noticed that Bhutto’s lip movements appeared different from the audio. We then ran the audio clip through multiple AI voice detection tools. While most platforms did not detect signs of AI generated audio, Resemble AI termed the voice as “fake.”
