A video claiming to show Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi confirming that six Indian jets were lost, and 250 soldiers were martyred in the May 2025 military confrontation with Pakistan has gone viral online. ‘Let’s Count Jets’: Old Images Falsely Shared As Pak Showing ‘Intact’ Fleet After IAF Chief Says 6 PAF Planes Downed
Several pro-Pakistan handles on X are circulating a set of three images, claiming that the country is publicly displaying its whole fleet of military aircraft, while challenging India to do so. However, we found that the viral images claiming to be of Pakistan publicly displaying its intact fleet of military aircraft after India said it downed six PAF planes during Operation Sindoor were old. Rahul Gandhi Vs Election Commission: PM Modi’s 2014 X Post Criticising Poll Body Shared Out Of Context
Several social media users shared a screenshot of an X post by PM Narendra Modi criticising the Election Commission of India (ECI), saying that the PM has announced his support for senior Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s protest against the ECI over alleged electoral malpractices. Bihar Sarpanch Beaten Up While Campaigning For Assembly Polls? No, Viral Video Is From Assam
Several social media users are circulating a 23-second video, claiming that it shows a village sarpanch in Bihar being beaten up by villagers while seeking votes for an MLA who has left the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls in the state.
