Amidst this situation, a screenshot of a purported social media post by Trump is circulating on social media, which reads, “So hard to believe that Prime Minister Modi STILL hasn’t responded to my tweets, statements, or tariff concerns. We gave India so much – great deals, defense support, big crowds – and yet, TOTAL SILENCE. Not even a thank you! Don’t forget – I’m the one who got India and Pakistan to declare a ceasefire. Nobody else could do that. MANY people said I should’ve gotten the Nobel Prize for it!! India continues to benefit while American workers suffer. Many X users shared the screenshot of the US President’s alleged post, with one such user writing, “God he’s entertaining!”

Fact Check/ Verification

US President Donald Trump usually uses his Truth social media handle to make various announcements or opinions. However, we found no such post on his Truth page.

We then checked Donald Trump’s X handle, but there was no such post there either. We checked the archives of Trump’s X handle and found that no such posts were deleted.

Additionally, we found no reports by any credible news outlets indicating that the US President was upset over the Indian Prime Minister ‘not expressing gratitude’.

Conclusion

Thus, it is clear that the viral screenshot of US President Donald Trump is fabricated.
